Motivated by a great desire to empower children to love life and live up to their full potential, I became a PTUK Accredited Play & Creative Arts Therapist, and furthered my career to also being a Clinical Supervisor, Children and Young People’s Counsellor, and Parent-Child Attachment Play Licenced Practitioner.

Whilst I spent 7 years in a multi-disciplinary clinic working closely with those with Sensory Processing Difficulties and Trauma, I also provide help for anxious, angry, depressed, and dysregulated young people with or without a diagnosis.

I am fascinated by the play behaviours children use to communicate their feelings, thoughts and anxieties, and because of this, I have studied the use of play as a psychotherapeutic medium to understand and address behaviours that are considered disruptive to the children themselves and/or to those around them.

I particularly enjoy offering an Integrative Holistic approach with a trauma-informed lens; this approach brings together the range of psychotherapeutic techniques to meet your needs whilst giving the child full autonomy over their sessions to find solutions to their problems in a way that is meaningful to them.

Whilst I work with the child and respect their right to confidentiality, I invite parents and professionals to become partners in their child’s therapeutic journey. I truly believe that together we can effectively increase children’s mental health and see them fully experience the joy of living and learning.
